THE NEW GLOBAL TOP 10 By PPP (purchasing power parity) - as the IMF/World Bank have been forced to admit this week: 1.China 2.U.S. 3.India 4.Japan 5.Germany 6.Russia 7.Brazil 8.France 9.Indonesia 10.U.K. Five emerging powers (Global South, including four BRICS) vs five in the establishment (Japan counts as cripto-West) - trending towards the Global South, with China on top. It gets way more complex, because at the moment everyone - apart from China and Indonesia - is in crisis/flirting with recession/flirting with zero growth. But its easy to see which way the wind is blowing.
