THE NIGERIAN WITH OUR FEAR FEAR I woke up this morning and i saw many people pouring salt into hot water; they said that Ebola virus has been released into the air and people should take their bath with salt and hot water; I began to think as a scientist; how does salt solution kill virus? what is the mechanism? that was where i came to realise that it is a rumor; it is a big lie. salt solution does not kill virus; so me I did not bath with any salt oh. Secondly ebola is not an air-borne disease, so how is it possible for us to contract it from air? hmm na wa o. The most amazing thing is that many Nigerians believe this false information even educated people also believed it. I think its because of our fear fear. lolzzz. Abeg do not believe in the rumor jare. go ahead and bath without salt. All you should do is practice good hygiene, keep your environment clean, wash your hands with soap and water always and do not travel to countries where ebola virus is rampant and avoid bush meat, monkeys and bats. Report to a nearby hospital if u see any person that is having the symptoms of ebola.( fever, diarrhea, bleeding, etc). MAY GOD PROTECT US AND OUR FAMILIES AND FRIENDS AGAINST EBOLA IN JESUS NAME. AMEN.
