THE ONLY WAY TO SEE SUPERNATURAL HAPPENING IN OUR LIVES IS NOT BY - TopicsExpress

THE ONLY WAY TO SEE SUPERNATURAL HAPPENING IN OUR LIVES IS NOT BY LOOKING AT OUR SELF EFFORTS DEEDS, BUT BY BEHOLDING OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST IS THE ONLY WAY TO SEE TREMENDOUS GLORY OF THE LORD. HEB:12:2 Looking away [from all that will distract] to Jesus, Who is the Leader {and} the Source of our faith [giving the first incentive for our belief] and is also its Finisher [bringing it to maturity and perfection]. He, for the joy [of obtaining the prize] that was set before Him, endured the cross, despising {and} ignoring the shame, and is now seated at the right hand of the throne of God. Isaiah:45:22 Look to Me and be saved, all the ends of the earth! For I am God, and there is no other. Mic:7:7 But as for me, I will look to the Lord {and} confident in Him I will keep watch; I will wait with hope {and} expectancy for the God of my salvation; my God will hear me. A GOOD CASE STUDY OF BEHOLDING CHRIST WAS WITH THE CASE OF CHILDREN OF ISRAEL IN THE WILDERNESS. NUM:21:5-8: And the people spoke against God and against Moses, Why have you brought us out of Egypt to die in the wilderness? For there is no bread, neither is there any water, and we loathe this light (contemptible, unsubstantial) manna. Then the Lord sent fiery (burning) serpents among the people; and they bit the people, and many Israelites died. And the people came to Moses, and said, We have sinned, for we have spoke against the Lord and against you; pray to the Lord, that He may take away the serpents from us. So Moses prayed for the people. And the Lord said to Moses, Make a fiery serpent [of bronze] and set it on a pole; and everyone who is bitten, when he looks at it, shall live. And Moses made a serpent of bronze and put it on a pole, and if a serpent had bitten any man, when he looked to the serpent of bronze [attentively, expectantly, with a steady and absorbing gaze], he lived. THE ABOVE EXAMPLE IS THE WAY OF BEHOLDING CHRIST. NOT LOOKING UNTO THE CIRCUMSTANCES OR THE REPORTS AROUND US, BUT LOOKING UNTO CHRIST, IS THE ANTIDOTE TO EVERY NEGATIVE SITUATIONS AROUND US. AS A TRUE BIRN AGAIN CHRISTIAN, WE ARE TO ALWAYS EXAMINE OURSELVES IF WE ARE STILL IN FAITH. BEING IN FAITH MEANS THAT WE ARE NOT TRUSTING IN OF OURSELVES, BUT OUR HOPE, TRUST IS IN THE LORD. OUR SUFFICIENCY IS FROM GOD, OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST HOLY SPIRIT. 2Cor:3:5 Not that we are fit (qualified and sufficient in ability) of ourselves to form personal judgments {or} to claim {or} count anything as coming from us, but our power {and} ability {and} sufficiency are from God. 4:7 However, we possess this precious treasure [the divine Light of the Gospel] in [frail, human] vessels of earth, that the grandeur {and} exceeding greatness of the power may be shown to be from God and not from ourselves. IT IS NOT IN OF OURSELVES THAT WE ARE ABLE TO KEEP OURSELVES FROM FALLING, BUT ONLY BY BEHOLDING OUR HEAVENLY FATHERS WILL, WHICH HAS BEEN ACCOMPLISHED BY OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST WORKS, WHEN HE SHED HIS BLOOD ONCE AND FOR ALL, AND THE WITNESS OF THE HOLY SPIRIT, TESTIFYING TO WHAT OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST HAS DONE FOR US IS THE ONLY WAY FOR US TO KEEP ON STANDING IN THE LORD, AND NOT IN OF OURSELVES. JUDE:1:24 Now to Him Who is able to keep you without stumbling {or} slipping {or} falling, and to present [you] unblemished (blameless and faultless) before the presence of His glory in triumphant joy {and} exultation [with unspeakable, ecstatic delight]-- Col:1:21-23:And although you at one time were estranged {and} alienated from Him and were of hostile attitude of mind in your wicked activities, Yet now has [Christ, the Messiah] reconciled [you to God] in the body of His flesh through death, in order to present you holy and faultless and irreproachable in His [the Fathers] presence. [And this He will do] provided that you continue to stay with {and} in the faith [in Christ], well-grounded and settled {and} steadfast, not shifting {or} moving away from the hope [which rests on and is inspired by] the glad tidings (the Gospel), which you heard and which has been preached [as being designed for and offered without restrictions] to every person under heaven. SO WHAT ARE WE BEHOLDING? BECAUSE WHAT WE CAN SEE IN THE EYES OF THE SPIRIT IS WHAT WE SHALL SEE IN THE PHYSICAL. TRANSFORMATION IS NOT BY SELF EFFORTS, BUT IS BY BEHOLDING CHRIST WHO IS OUR LIFE, AND THE HOLY SPIRIT WILL BRING IT TO FRUITION. 1Cor:1:30 But it is from Him that you have your life in Christ Jesus, Whom God made our Wisdom from God, [revealed to us a knowledge of the divine plan of salvation previously hidden, manifesting itself as] our Righteousness [thus making us upright and putting us in right standing with God], and our Consecration [making us pure and holy], and our Redemption [providing our ransom from eternal penalty for sin]. WHATEVER WE WANT OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST TO BE FOR US, HE HAS ALREADY GAVE THEM TO US, SO ALL WHAT IS REQUIRED IS TO SEIZE FROM SELF EFFORT PERFORMANCE, AND TOTALY RELY ON THE GRACE OF GOD IN CHRIST. THIS IS A DIVINE EMPOWERMENT TO GET THINGS DONE WHICH WILL NEVER BE POSSIBLE IN THE NATURAL. TITUS:2:11-12:For the grace of God (His unmerited favor and blessing) has come forward (appeared) for the deliverance from sin {and} the eternal salvation for all mankind. It has trained us to reject {and} renounce all ungodliness (irreligion) and worldly (passionate) desires, to live discreet (temperate, self-controlled), upright, devout (spiritually whole) lives in this present world. AS WE BEHOLDING CHRIST OUR LORD JESUS, IN HIM WE HAVE RECEIVED GRACE UPON GRACE. JOHN:1:16 For out of His fullness (abundance) we have all received [all had a share and we were all supplied with] one grace after another {and} spiritual blessing upon spiritual blessing {and} even favor upon favor {and} gift [heaped] upon gift. IN CHRIST WE HAVE RECEIVED ALL THE SPIRITUAL BLESSINGS IN HEAVENLY PLACES. EPH:1:3-4: May blessing (praise, laudation, and eulogy) be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ (the Messiah) Who has blessed us {in Christ} with every spiritual (given by the Holy Spirit) blessing in the heavenly realm! Even as [in His love] He chose us [actually picked us out for Himself as His own] in Christ before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy (consecrated and set apart for Him) and blameless in His sight, {even} above reproach, before Him in love. WE HAVE BEING ENRICHED IN ALL THINGS AS WE BEHOLDING WHOM WE ARE IN CHRIST AND WHOM CHRIST IS TO US. 1Cor:1:5 [So] that in Him in every respect you were enriched, in full power {and} readiness of speech [to speak of your faith] and complete knowledge {and} illumination [to give you full insight into its meaning]. 2Pet:1:2-3: May grace (Gods favor) and peace (which is perfect well-being, all necessary good, all spiritual prosperity, and freedom from fears and agitating passions and moral conflicts) be multiplied to you in [the full, personal, precise, and correct] knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord. For His divine power has bestowed upon us all things that [are requisite and suited] to life and godliness, through the [full, personal] knowledge of Him Who called us by {and} to His own glory and excellence (virtue). IT IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE HOLY SPIRIT IN TRANSFORMING US TO CONFORM INTO WHAT WE ARE BEHOLDING OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST FOR. 2Cor:3:18 And all of us, as with unveiled face, [because we] continued to behold [in the Word of God] as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are constantly being transfigured into His {very own} image in ever increasing splendor {and} from one degree of glory to another; [for this comes] from the Lord [Who is] the Spirit. IT IS NOT IN OF OUR SELF EFFORT, BUT ITS THE HOLY SPIRIT THAT WILL GLORIFY AND TESTIFY OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST IN OUR LIVES TO THE WHOLE WORLD. John:16:13-14: But when He, the Spirit of Truth (the Truth-giving Spirit) comes, He will guide you into all the Truth (the whole, full Truth). For He will not speak His own message [on His own authority]; but He will tell whatever He hears [from the Father; He will give the message that has been given to Him], and He will announce {and} declare to you the things that are to come [that will happen in the future]. He will honor {and} glorify Me, because He will take of (receive, draw upon) what is Mine and will reveal (declare, disclose, transmit) it to you. BEHOLDING CHRIST IN ALL WHAT HE HAS DONE FOR US AND NOT IN OF OURSELVES IS HOW TO FINISH WELL. Heb:3:6 But Christ (the Messiah) was faithful over His [own Fathers] house as a Son [and Master of it]. And it is we who are [now members] of this house, if we hold {fast and firm to the end} our joyful {and} exultant confidence and sense of triumph in our hope [in Christ]. 3:14 For we have become fellows with Christ (the Messiah) {and} share in all He has for us, if only we hold our first newborn confidence {and} original assured expectation [in virtue of which we are believers] firm {and} unshaken to the end.
