THE ONLY WAY Written by Angus Buchan on April 2, 2014. Posted in From Angus Desk Galatians 2:20 (NLT), says “My old self has been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me. So I live in this earthly body by trusting in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.” The way of the Cross is the only way to live in this world. Our biggest enemy is not the devil, it is self. It is in dying that we live. Jesus said in Luke 14:27 (NLT), “And if you do not carry your own cross and follow me, you cannot be my disciple.” Let us go out today and start to live for others and not for ourselves. All of a sudden, our lives will take on a completely new outlook. Catherine Kuhlman was greatly used by God in divine healing. She often said that if you are feeling sick, go out and find somebody that is more sick than you are and pray for them. After that prayer meeting, you will find that you are not so sick after all. A little boy always complained to his mother that he never had shoes to wear, until he saw a little boy being pushed up the street in a wheelchair who had no feet. From that day on, the little boy never complained again about having no new shoes. It is when we take our eyes off of ourselves and look with compassion and love to our fellow men, that things go better for us. May God bless you as you die to self and live for God, Angus Buchan
