THE PLAY LIST ~Los Esteva When my parents came to this country, like all new immigrants they struggled. They worked hard, they loved us, and they forged a great life in a new country with all of the hopes and dreams for their two boys and a little girl that would come 6 years after they arrived. They could not afford much ... But they bought a turn table, a set of speakers, a Gladys Knight and the Pips album where I learned to love Midnight Train to Georgia, a Santana Album, with Black Magic Woman, a 45 single of Brother Louie by STORIES, a cover from the group Hot Chocolate; another 45 of Eres Tu by Mocedades, and this amazing hit that has always been near and dear to me which really showcases what an amazing guitarist Keith Richards truly is ... and what a poet Mick Jagger can be. And I cant forget, Tom Jones, Live at Ceasars Palace (1971) All 1971-1973 music. ... Dont you weep. All your kisses still taste sweet... You cant say we never tried. ~~Mick Jagger With lyrics like these and Keith Richards unique rock riffs, I must say to me, the Stones may supplant the Beatles which is controversial to say.
