THE POEM I sit in silence stretching me far somewhere The lonely sky like a seagull whirls for shore, The words begin to come like stars one by one It is the voice of my own blood in a sing-song way. Yearning and yawning life stiffly up and down The treasures of thoughts hidden like gems in sand, It trickles like water from hill forming a stream Changing rocks into fertile land for corn to sway. The flame is flickered and goes out so quickly Words true from heart have a brief smile to fade, Prized with Peace and bliss the subtle soul bestows Again I am left shaking the silhouette dark at night. The sleepy town with slitting eyes misses the sight The fear that oozes from my own shadow in eyes, I turn into an ordinary man for familial bliss Withdrawing me from world clipping my wings. I wait for something to come like sweet dreams Something I knew not earlier I learn and share, Words inflame the passion like me many I find Caress my thoughts as their own is profound bliss.
