THE POLITCAL MAINSTREAM WE NEEDS TO ATTAINED My dear contributing members, the Nigeria system of government is a presidential, that consists the three arms of government which we knows as the separation of powers that makes each arm independent, with separate functions and may not unsurp the functions of another arm. *The legislative; the congress makes the laws. *The executive; the president implements laws. *The juduciary; the court system interprets the laws and decides legal controversies. However, these arms are interrelated, they cooperate with one another and also prevent one another from attempting to assume too much power, this relationship is described as checks and balances. Here, the concern of the patriotic members is the implication of voting in other parties NASS member candidates and governors that are not the same party with the elected or vice versa, which the political analysts considers as very dangerous to political dispensation. The checks and balances will not be applicable into this scenario, along the line, will constantly brings in hot arguments in legislative session which is definitely hijacking execution of projects to be implement. If the opposition parties to elected president are the majority in the legislative chambers, they may decide to impeach the Mr president with solo reasons. The members of the NASS that are also in opposition party with Governor, they also got the power to reject project implementation by Mr president or pass the needs of the people of their constituencies to NASS. With the above piece of note, I will like all the patriotic and contributing members to use their consciousness and vote wisely, to vote through our slogan APC SAK, voting in APC SAK is the only way our able father #GMB will prove his legacy and integrity to the nation, if we voted otherwise is like tarnishing his good images and painting him black. Pls, let us help and assist #GMB administration by voting in APC SAK for good governance with little rancour he may come across. Hassan Usman Datti. 21th January, 2015.
