So do not accept another’s desire, or picture of love, in place of your own. Always follow your own inner guidance to what feels better. Sacred Relationships are possible. They require the mutual understanding that each person’s first relationship is with their self. The couple then works as partners knowing that they will each be the teacher of the other person. They also understand that there are always 3 entities in any relationship; me, you, and us. I am responsible for me, in everyway possible, and I do not expect anyone to take any responsibility for or from me. You are responsible for you. I will not seek to invade, usurp, or otherwise take for you your responsibility. We are responsible for us. The relationship’s success or failure is not to be blamed on one person. Both people must put into defining the relationship. Each partner learns to give each other the freedom to follow their own soul’s calling. Each partner challenges each other to do the work that they need most to do. We are perfect teachers for each other. We help each other not go back to sleep.
