“THE POWER OF THE WORD NO” - I was sitting here thinking over my life especially the time when I was a teen and in my early twenties. It was a time when I could have messed over a lot of young women. I’m thinking in particular about the ones who said no!!!!!! What’s unfortunate is loneliness and the feeling of worthlessness will sometimes make even some of our older women say yes when they should say no. Don’t allow anyone to just mess over you, especially if you’re not in a loving relationship. Get your respect, keep your respect, say no because when you give them a part of you that person has a lifetime memory of using you and disrespecting you. Say no, you’re not easy. Say no, you’re somebody. Say no, because you are worth a serious relationship, you’re worth a wedding ring, say no… (DC Real Talk #4179)
