THE POWER OF WOW. The Alpha and Omega is real-time speed. Information and services have to be delivered NOW, to meet the up-to-the- minute needs of customers. If you don’t have a solution now, if you don’t answer a question to satisfaction now, the customer contacts your competitor. That’s perfectly right, but it’s missing the vital point. It’s not just about “now”, it’s about “WOW”. You offer the same quality products as your competitors. But that’s not the main point, more important is the power of “wow”. As long as you are not achieving the “wow” factor among your customers, your business is stuck. Your next innovation has to dazzle your customers, to exceed their expectations. An innovation doesn’t only mean a new product it includes customer service. Now how do you rise above all the mediocrity and how do you deliver the “wow” factor? The good news is: it is easy and cheap! It’s not about making huge investments in altering your product, it’s not the fancy ads and hyping up your company by PR. It is about doing things differently than the rest of the market, the approach needs to be different – and often, by going above and beyond when you deal with clients. This is how you become the sole leader ahead of the pack. Take your customer service to another level, personalize it, be interested in your customers, listen to them and come up with “wow” effect solutions.
