THE PRICE JESUS PAID Let us ask this question, who is it that was ever committing sin before he accepted Christ, that ever stopped sinning even after accepting Christ. Of course there is no one. We all commit sin before we accept Christ, and we keep on doing so, even after we accept the Christ. The Bible, talking about Jesus says, this is the lamb of God, that taketh away the sin of the world. The question is, the fact you still commit sin, even after you met with Jesus, does it negate the fact Jesus carried all your sins away, your past, your present, and your future sins? Many people who say they believe in Jesus, they say they want to cease from committing sin, and when they do, they confess their sins. However, is it by confessing our sins, the sins are taken care of? I know the Bible says if we confess our sins he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. Understand, this.confession has to do with Christ, who took all our sins away. The Bible actually says without the shedding ot blood there is no remission of sin, and Jesus shed his blood once, and for all time, his sacrifice is eternal. It is not when we pray and ask for forgiveness God forgives us, it is.when we believe Jesus took all our sins away. Now most say, does that mean we can continue in our sins, since Jesus took all our sins away? And they do not believe, they think Jesus took away their past sins only, and they have to take care of the rest. This is unbelief. Faith is, I believe Jesus took away all my sins, God will give me of his Holy Spirit to guide me, when I walk after the flesh, paradventure, he will chastise and correct me as a loving Father - this is faith. And the just shall live by faith, however many try to stop sinning, they have their own righteousness, and not the righteousness of God.
