THE PROBLEM WITH QUICK FIX DIETS Nowadays, especially among the younger population, there are many individuals that seek the quick fix diets in order to lose a few inches & pounds here and there. The main problem with these diets is that, yes the individual loses weight but in most cases cannot maintain the weight loss. This is due to the diet programme coming to an end because it is no longer practical for an individual to follow as key nutrients needed for everyday life are not getting consumed which leads to drowsiness, head aches, stomach pain, stomach cramps, sickness, loss of lean muscle tissue & many more. This then starts a vicious cycle as the individual notices the new & best quick fix which they believe is different from the rest and choose to start all over again. These diets also add stress and de-motivates the individual as they believe they are failures as they could not follow one specific diet consistently. You also expect immediate results. Quick fix weight loss diets can have results of losses upto 6lbs per week. The individual then expects this each week and becomes frustrated and disappointed when they hit a brick wall as no more weight is coming off. This can also lead to eating disorders as specific rigid rules are set out by these diets and these make individuals rule out specific food groups from their overall diet, which is a recipe for disaster. Choose never to follow a quick fix diet and resolve youre diet down to a T. Average weight loss on my Mass Fitness Weight Loss Diets are 5lbs in 2 weeks.
