THE PURPOSE OF SENTIMENT...REFLECTION...define...cool, PAM, interview...well, I was, yeah, seven years old, and I was a BROWNIE, and I was oh so happy to be in the group you know...oh my light brown sock, knee socks with the green on them...and oh my, a little brown dress, and brown belt, and we know it, a beanie, with love that was brown too, amen...I was so happy to be a brownie and to go to the meetins, ah it was heaven...and they met by my school on Monday nights, near my elementary school in Marshalltown Iowa, and I was a proud*, said I, PAM BROWNIE...and one night...MAMA, forgot to pick me up...oh my, I said, whaaat, do I do? I was outside playin with the other girls, who lived out in the country, one by one, all got picked up, I tell you a secret, I eh went down the street, to Jerry Sagers house, just for fun...and they had that thing on the house, a hand, this is a safe house, as it was getting, dark and when I rang the door bell of where the meetin was, no one answered the door, so I went to Jerrys house, his mum answered the so much door, well hello Pammy whats wrong, my mum, I was almost in tears, forgot to my so my goodness, to pick me up from brownie, me dad too...ah my honey, let me call them what is the number I will put you on honey, I am warmin up dinner, come join us...no problem they work hard, must have forgot, come join us, Jerry smilin eyes at me, ah yeah he was, he wawes, as eh we Irish say, in my what, Rodgers Elementary school class, his mum said, yeah Ann, Anna, or is it ANN, it is ANN, and JAKE WILL PICK her up straight away, I had no idea, they met on Mondays now, honey, I am so sorry,...she said, no problem thank you for givin her the stew....oh Pammy is fine, and Annie, I love you for givin us so much a fine girl at the table she says please and thank you and the napkin hey in her lap, and helped me in the kitchen, stopped her cryin at the door...thank you from the bottom of my heart, said Ann, my Mum. Love PAM!
