THE RACETECH NOVICE RIDERS RACE SERIES:- Good news - the RaceTech Novice Riders Series is back again for 2015. This series is specifically being run to provide less competitive combinations the opportunities to experience the excitement of race riding. The Race Conditions are: - For genuine Pony Club and Hunting Type ponies measuring 148cms & Under. - Ponies may NOT have been placed 1st-4th in ANY OPEN Pony Club Race or OPEN Point-to-Point Pony Race since the 1st JANUARY 2013. - Ponies may NOT have competed in the Charles Owen Summer Racecourse Series. - Once a pony / rider has won 2 of these races they are no longer eligible to enter any further races within the series. - The 1st FOUR past the post in a qualifier will be eligible to enter the final which will be held at the Meynell & South Staffordshire PtP on Saturday, 30th May at Garthorpe. If there are enough qualified ponies of each height (138cms / 148cms) TWO finals will be held - if not the one race will be staged with prizes for each height category past the post etc. The list of qualifying races will be issued in due course.
