THE RANK PROFESSOR! I understand professorship as the highest rank attend by acadamicians and researchers who have made remarkable achievements in their chosen fields of endeavours. A professor is imbued with wisdom,knowladge and he derives joy in imparting such knowladge to people and always aim at breeding a generation of intellectualism. But todays attitude of scholars and professors has left one wondering what a professor professes outside the university shore? Many brains outside there especially in the political firmament have been indictrinated with the substance of corruption,nepotism,hypocracy and the rest. My good friend once described one of the professors dancing naked at the corridor of power as A Senior Advocate of Syconphancy .
