As you have been advised over the phone, investigations can take up to 10 business days, as several areas of the business need to be contacted and investigate, and we need to allow enough time for the painting to clear all our possible networks as it is possible that your parcel simply missed being scanned, and is waiting for collection at the addressees local Post Office, or it could have been delayed in transit. If the parcel is awaiting collection, it will be held for a minimum of 10 business days, before it is returned to sender, and if it is deemed undeliverable for some reason, it will be returned to sender, or may end up in our Returned Mail Redistribution Centre (RMRC), where it will be catalogued and a valid forwarding address searched for. As it can take a week or more for parcels to be catalogued at the Returned Mail Redistribution Centre, we need to allow enough time for this to happen before a final search is conducted and a resolution reached for your investigation. This final RMRC search is conducted 10-15 business days after the expected delivery date, which for your parcel was 15 December, which means that we have to wait at least until the end of this week to conduct that search. As your initial investigation was lodged on 22 December, you should have a resolution by 8 January. Alice
