DAN BAND IN CONCERT On September 13th, Rock 103 will be part of a very special concert at Festival Park. Gary Sinise and the Lt. Dan Band return for a great show with a great cause. Sinise may be best known for his acting – in Forrest Gump, The Green Mile, CSI-NY and tons of other movies and shows – but he is a true musician and showman and his ensemble performs everything from Katy Perry to Motown, from Brad Paisley to Jimi Hendrix. A fun family night is guaranteed. Here’s what it’s all about: The Gary Sinise Foundation and the Tunnel To Towers Foundation are building accessible smart homes for many of those hardest hit during combat. We have a couple right here in our midst. Master Sergeant John Masson from Fort Bragg and Staff Sergeant Thomas McRae from Camp Lejeune both lost three limbs while on foot patrol in Afghanistan. The objective of this concert is smart homes for Masson and McRae, restoring accessibility, independence and dignity. Tickets are $35 and are available at ltdanband – every cent goes to the Masson-McRae fund. It’s Friday, September 13th at Festival Park in downtown Fayetteville. ROCK 103 AROUND TOWN!
