THE SABBATH MESSAGE FOR DECEMBER 13, 2014: . Shalom to All Who Seek the CREATOR YAH and HIS TRUTH, . YAH, THE CREATOR, IS MY MIGHTY ONE AND MY ONLY SAVIOR! . Last week’s Sabbath Message was about King Solomon’s Prayer and his wisdom and forethought to pray to the MIGHTY ONE of Israel to Deliver the Israelites who fell into the hands and under the control of Gentiles who would carry them into their lands. This week I want to clarify the works and ways of King Solomon that were anything but the wise things to do. . The CREATOR YAH of Israel had Commanded the Israelites that their Kings of Israel must write for themselves a copy of HIS Book of the Law and read it “all the days of his life…so that he keep all the words of this law and these statutes” (Deuteronomy. 17:18,19). And as we should all know, the CREATOR’s chief concern was that the Children of Israel and the Kings of Israel never forsake HIM for other gods. Hence, this is HIS reason for writing the very First Commandment: “THOU SHALT HAVE NO OTHER MIGHTY ONES BEFORE ME”, (and, just for the record, that would include JC). Nevertheless, the MIGHTY ONE of Israel had warned King Solomon to keep HIS LAW, and before that, when the Israelites were in the Wilderness, HE Commanded them not to intermarry with the Canaanites because they would turn their hearts from following HIM. . “For they will turn away thy son from following me that they may serve other gods: so will the anger of Yahuah be kindled against you, and destroy thee suddenly.” Deuteronomy 7:4 . “But king Solomon loved many strange women, together with the daughter of Pharaoh, women of the Moabites, Ammonites, Edomite’s, Zidonians, and Hittites; Of the nations concerning which Yahuah said unto the children of Israel, YE SHALL NOT GO IN TO THEM, NEITHER SHALL THEY COME IN UNTO YOU: FOR SURELY THEY WILL TURN AWAY YOUR HEART AFTER THEIR GODS: Solomon clave unto these in love. And he had seven hundred wives, princesses, and three hundred concubines: and his wives turned away his heart. For it came to pass, when Solomon was old, that his wives turned away his heart after other gods: and his heart was not perfect with Yahuah his Mighty One, as was the heart of David his father.” I Kings 11:1 - 4 . The MIGHTY ONE of Israel had warned the Children of Israel to take heed not to worship and bow down to other gods countless times or HE would scatter them from the Land, and as one can see, our forefathers did not FEAR YAH to obey HIM. And YAH had personally warned King Solomon after he had built a Temple to HIS Holy Name. . “…Yahuah appeared to Solomon the second time, as he had appeared unto him at Gibeon. And Yahuah said unto him, I have heard thy prayer and thy supplication that thou hast made before me: I have hallowed this house, which thou hast built, to put my name there forever; and mine eyes and mine heart shall be there perpetually. And if thou wilt walk before me, as David thy father walked, in integrity of heart, and in uprightness, to do according to all that I have commanded thee, and wilt keep my statutes and my judgments: Then I will establish the throne of thy kingdom upon Israel for ever, as I promised to David thy father, saying, There shall not fail thee a man upon the throne of Israel. But if ye shall at all turn from following me, ye or your children, and will not keep my commandments and my statutes which I have set before you, but go and serve other gods, and worship them: Then will I cut off Israel out of the land which I have given them; and this house, which I have hallowed for my name, will I cast out of my sight; and Israel shall be a proverb and a byword among all people:” I Kings 9:2 – 7 . The CREATOR is a JEALOUS Mighty One, and HE will not tolerate the worship of other gods. But who is taking notice and taking HIS WORD and Commandments to heart? Whether we accept it or not, a “man” cannot replace all that exemplifies the CREATOR YAH and know HIS Secrets (only that which HE has chosen to share with HIS People and with the world), that is HIS Book of the Law that contains information and knowledge of HIS CREATION, HIS WONDERS, HIS MIRACLES, HIS ACCOMPLISHMENTS, HIS Coveted Book of the Law (Divine Laws, Statutes, and Judgments), HIS Covenant People, and HIS Holy Land of Israel. Neither JC nor any El can be compared to this AWESOME MIGHTY ONE of Israel that Created the Universe, and because of ALL these ACTS the CREATOR YAH wants ALL the GLORY and will not share it with another! . “I am Yahuah: that is my name: and my glory will I not give to another, neither my praise to graven images.” Isaiah 42:8 . King Solomon had 700 wives and 300 concubines, and many of them were from pagan nations. They turned Solomon’s heart from following his MIGHTY ONE of Israel. Unfortunately, he had no wisdom to give absolute allegiance to his MIGHTY ONE rather than to his wives. Because of King Solomon’s sins, after his death, the MIGHTY ONE of Israel divided the Kingdom: The Ten Tribes and The Tribe of Judah with remnants of Levites and Benjamin. . “And Solomon did evil in the sight of Yahuah, and went not fully after Yahuah, as did David his father. Then did Solomon build an high place for Chemosh, the abomination of Moab, in the hill that is before Jerusalem, and for Molech, the abomination of the children of Ammon. And likewise did he for all his strange wives, which burnt incense and sacrificed unto their gods. And Yahuah was angry with Solomon, because his heart was turned from Yahuah Mighty One of Israel, which had appeared unto him twice,” I Kings 11:6 - 9 . Thus, it behooves us all to be wise and remember King Solomon’s Prayer, as well as why he lost his Kingdom. The last thing we want to do is repeat the sins of our forefathers. When the MIGHTY ONE of Israel said HE is a JEALOUS Mighty One, HE meant it, and because our forefathers did not take heed to HIS WORDS, not only are we paying the consequences in heathen lands, but the world has become a living Hell with death at every turn. . *** . EMBRACE IT AND ENJOY IT, AS IT IS A GIFT FROM OUR MIGHTY ONE THAT WE MAY BE REFRESHED! . “See, for that Yahuah hath given you the Sabbath, therefore he giveth you on the sixth day the bread of two days; abide ye every man in his place, let no man go out of his place on the seventh day.” Exodus 16:29 . “IF THOU TURN AWAY THY FOOT FROM THE SABBATH, FROM DOING THY PLEASURE ON MY HOLY DAY; AND CALL THE SABBATH A DELIGHT, THE HOLY OF YAHUAH, HONOURABLE; AND SHALT HONOUR HIM, NOT DOING THINE OWN WAYS, NOR FINDING THINE OWN PLEASURE, NOR SPEAKING THINE OWN WORDS: THEN SHALT THOU DELIGHT THYSELF IN YAHUAH; AND I WILL CAUSE THEE TO RIDE UPON THE HIGH PLACES OF THE EARTH, AND FEED THEE WITH THE HERITAGE OF JACOB THY FATHER: FOR THE MOUTH OF YAHUAH HATH SPOKEN IT.” Isaiah 58:13, 14 . “TRUST IN YAHUAH, and do good; so shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed. Rest in Yahuah, and wait patiently for him: fret not thyself because of him who prospereth in his way, because of the man who bringeth wicked devices to pass.” Psalm 37:3 – 7 . “And Yahuah spake unto Moses, saying, Speak thou also unto the children of Israel, saying, verily my Sabbaths ye shall keep: for it is a sign between me and you throughout your generations; that ye may know that I am Yahuah that doth sanctify you. Ye shall keep the Sabbath therefore; for it is holy unto you: every one that defileth it shall surely be put to death: for whosoever doeth any work therein, that soul shall be cut off from among his people. Six days may work be done; but in the seventh is the Sabbath of rest, holy to Yahuah: whosoever doeth any work in the Sabbath day, he shall surely be put to death. Wherefore the children of Israel shall keep the Sabbath, to observe the Sabbath throughout their generations, for a perpetual covenant. It is a sign between me and the children of Israel for ever: for in six days Yahuah made heaven and earth, and on the seventh day he rested, and was refreshed.” Exodus 31:12 – 17 .
