“THE SILENT TREATMENT” - The silent treatment is the oldest trick in the book. It’s a major power move in friendships, relationships, and works well also with family members. It is a manipulative tactic to play on your heartstrings. Ive done it many times to women when they called me out on my mess and would not let me have my way. They punish you in hopes of you changing your mind so they can ultimately get what they want from you. They know how much you love them and that the silence is torture for you. But I implore you to remain strong and don’t give in to the silent treatment. When a child falls out in the middle of the isle at the store they will eventually have to get up when they realize no one is paying attention to their foolishness… (DC Real Talk #3934)
