THE SO-CALLED NOTICE FOR SOUTHERNERS TO VACATE THE NORTH Our attention has been drawn to a certain notice purported to be given to SOUTHERNERS to vacate the north. 1. We in this Group vehemently and very strongly dissociate ourselves from this imaginary charade by these haters of Nigerian unity. 2. We believe in one indivisible Nigeria and will not support anything that will discriminate against fellow Nigerians wherever they reside. 3. Nigerians from other parts of Nigeria have contributed immensely to the development the economy of Plateau State and they deserve nothing but appreciation. We note in particular the contributions of the Onigbindes, the Ejidikes, the Akporidos, the Obis, the Oyedejis, the Ayenis, the Andeyabas, the Odegbamis, the Olagbemiros, the Saleh Hassans, the Okoyes and many Ijaw, Edo, Ishans, the Isokos, Itsekiris, Kanuris, Yoruba, Ibo, Hausa, the Efiks, Ibibios and many other wonderful Nigerians who have resided in Plateau State and contributed immensely to her economic development. 4. We are brothers and sisters and together we shall stand to defend Nigerian unity. LONG LIVE PLATEAU STATE! LONG LIVE ONE INDIVISIBLE NIGERIA! LONG LIVE ALL PEOPLE ON THE PLATEAU.
