THE SPIRIT BEING ... THE TRUE YOU You dont have a spirit... you are a spirit. We are spirit beings living in a body...the body we live in dies but the spirit never dies...the body you see is not the real you...the spirit in you is who you really are.... you are more of a spirit than you are of the flesh...you can loose your body but you can never loose your spirit...even though you die but your spirit doesnt...it still lives after we loose the body...the body was made to have the same eternal state as our spirit... it was sin that corrupted our bodies and made it impossible for it to live forever... spirits dont die...this is why even though we die in the flesh but our spirit (the real us) still lives on so the real truth is we never die....so if someone dies in the flesh...he isnt really dead...hes still alive...our bodies only enables us to live in this physical world and once it becomes lifeless,the real us,thats our spirit leaves the body...its the body that dies not the spirit... the spirit never dies so we never die even though we die in the flesh...many times we think we will die but thats not really true you know...whether your spirit (the real you) goes to hell or heaven...truth is it never dies as the body does...whether in hell or in heaven your spirit will never cease to exist...it will forever live but the difference is the kind of environment you will find yourself in...if your spirit goes to hell it will live in eternal suffering and agony but if it goes to heaven, it will live in joy and everlasting peace and glory so no matter where your fate takes you(whether hell or heaven) you will never die...can you imagine living in hell and not being able to die???...its a place you wont like to find yourself... spirits dont die so once you leave your body and get there, you are going to live and dwell in everlasting torment and suffering...this is why the bible calls it(hell) the second death cos only spiritual beings go there and thats the kind of death God has prepared for all evil and disobedient spirits...this is why we should be more concerned with our spiritual life than life here on earth cos you can die and loose your body anytime but the spirit never dies... it lives forever no matter where you find yourself either in hell or in heaven... the body we see now is nothing after all but the spirit is of much essence and this is why we should concentrate less on our physical bodies and then pay much attention to our spirit being for what shall it profit a man if he gets the whole world and yet loose his soul...it will profit no man nothing if he is to spend all his life seeking worldly things and doesnt give his spirit the only thing that will enable it to find eternal rest and joy that is the word of God...this is why Jesus could say in both MATTHEW 10:28 AND LUKE 12:4 that Do not fear those who kill the body but are unable to kill the soul(spirit ) but rather fear him who is able to destroy both soul(spirit)and body(being) in hell.....so according to Jesus we shouldnt even be afraid to loose(die) our physical body but then we should be afraid of the fate of our spirit being rather cos thats what matters most at the end...you are a spirit in a dead body...you are a spirit being living inside a dead body and thats what makes us human...human is two words put together humus(dead) and man (spirit being)...so a human is simply a spirit being in a dead body...man is the name or title God gave to the spirit being...So you are a spirit... you dont have one...you are one...and you will never die...you will live forever but then its up to you to decide where you will spend eternity...the spirit belongs to God cos he gave it...your spirit gives your body its life...once your spirit leaves your body...you die physically...we can prove this clearly from GENESIS 2:7 And the Lord God formed man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life and the man became a living being... you see that?...when God made man he was lifeless...he had no spirit so God breathed into him the breath of life that is the spirit and after receiving it then he began to live and became a living being... our spirits gives our bodies its life... once they leave...the body automatically dies and ceases to function...so the body you see right now is not who you really are...who you really are is the spirit that lives inside that body...this is why when you die the body goes back to where it came from (earth) and the spirit returns to God who gave it...You dont die...no you dont... its your body that only stops functioning but the spirit which is the real you still lives even after your body dies...so the good news is that we will live forever but the important thing is where we are going to spend this forever kind of life,whether in hell or in heaven... You dont have a spirit...You are a spirit...thats the true you! God bless you :)
