THE STATE OF ANARCHY ... SECURITY MISCONSTRUED. ...whilst l was putting this piece together, the breaking news came on the air, that Gen. Mohammad Buhari escaped being blown up in a suicide attempt. I joined the other concerned Nigerians to thank God that the assassination attempt failed, for if otherwise the Pogrom of 1966 in Northern. Nigeria, would have being a child play to what Southerners in the North would have experienced. The gist today is the Nigerian State of quangmire and time to decide if we must allow the daily massacre by the Boko Haram to continue. On monday Monday Mrs. Oby Ezekwesili tweeted, that her traveling documents were seized at Abuja Airport, by Security Operatives on her way to UK to attend a Seminar, on the other from above. The next day, one Marylin Ogar came to the media to insult the sensibilities of Nigerians, by telling us that they have the right to harass and detain anybody at will, under the guise of security check. Absurd you may say. It is a singular misfortune, that while our Security Operatives were busy harassing, detaining and deploying 30,000 Soldiers to the Streets of EKITI for mundane issues like ordinary election, the deadly Boko Haram lnsurgents were busy mapping out their Strategies in Sambisa forests, carefully selecting their next targets. This President have lost touch with the reality, because while the Streets of Kano, Kaduna, Yobee and Maiduguri were left porous unmanned, our Police and Soldiers were being used to hunt the Presidents political opponents. This Govt. have failed woefully to secure lives and properties. Perhaps, the likes of Godswill Akpabio, Asari Dokubo, Doyin Okupe, Edwin Clark Labaran Making and other Jonathans apologists, who insists this President must continent to rule us against our will, should now come out with a blue print of how to proceeds solutions to Nigerian problems. For if otherwise, this President will have no justification to rule this Country, a day longer.
