Those who trade Spiritual Integrity for their own agendas and political aims increase in numbers by the day, and the persecution they facilitate and promote, in whatever form it manifests, also grows. Is it no wonder that even now, even in this day and age, when there has been tremendous openings, much has to remain secret? You see all the non-sense discussed, all the speculation, all the theorising, all the ignorant, inane, misleading and, in many cases, sinister motives of many people who claim to be interested in The Sufis. Some even claim to have known Idries Shah personally, which is even more bizarre! Until you realize that in acquaintance there is no guarantee of assimilation, transmission or alignment. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
