THE TRUTH ABOUT ISLAM!!! Someone asked me to be very frank in explaining to him what is the truth about Islam and why we muslims dont accept christ. I told him Id explain christ to him in Islamic ideology. Islam accepts Jesus. Infact,it is a condition that one must believe in Adam,Noah,Jonah,Joseph,David,Solomon,Abraham,Ishmael,Moses,Jesus,Muhammad and every other prophet and messanger of Gob b4 one is a true Muslim. The muslim believes in every divine scripture revealed by God Almighty. The problem comes from human errors and interferance in divine matters. We as muslims will not accept any form of human inclusion or extraction out of this divine books and history has provided us with a good number of them. So to address the gentleman,I told him I believe Jesus is a messanger of God to the lost sheep of Israel(as Jesus said himself). On the intolerance,I have this to say: If you want to make enquiries abt islam, check the quran and hadith(they are globally available without restrictions or multiple versions). Whenever a muslim scholar or cleric tells you any dubious or contradicting phenomenon abt islam,ask him for proof from these sources. If he provides one, fine but believe me he cant. A scholar or cleric is human and prone to errors, mistakes, misinterpretations and misquotations but Allah is divine and free from error. About muslim intolerance to non-muslims,the prophet Muhammad(S.A.W.) Has an uncle (the father of Ali,a cousin,companion and in-law of the prophet) who wasnt a muslim. Actually,he lived with a lot of non-muslims in Mecca some of who were related to him by blood. So where does one get the notion to kill every non-muslim? An authentic hadith of the Prophet explained that killing a christian keeps one away from perceiving the scent of paradise which is atleast a distance of 500yrs journey. That is main stream islam. Islam accepts Jews and christians as brothers in monotheism,this is mentioned quite a lot of times in the quran(sometimes as people of the book). A muslim may be erronous,faulty,wrong or even a criminal but ISLAM IS PERFECT!!!!
