THE TRUTH DOOR I have looked for the moment everywhere. I have hunted for it on the yoga mat, the meditation cushion, the breathing stool. I have sought it through detachment practices, depth-full adventures, emotional clearings, mantra and tantra. All Go(o)d, but something was missing... People often talk about living in the moment but it is my experience that we do not live in the moment if we are not living in truth. Truth IS the gateway to the moment. Without it, our breaths are somehow incomplete, our presence shrouded, our intimacy half-hearted because we are not fully there for it. The moment we own our truth, we get truth-chills- little cries of relief from our body temple- as the veils to clarity fall away and our divine presence enters. Here we are. Here now. Soulshaping always begins with the truth- the gut wrenching, heart opening, often uncomfortable, ultimately liberating, truth. Not a generalized truth, but the unique truth that is particular to your own journey. The bridge across the river lie is ever-tempting- it still tempts me often- but there is nothing for us there. When we shred our cloaks of falsity and shamelessly in-body our truths, the God Gate opens and our Essence steps on through. (Welcome Essence, welcome home.) This week... I in-courage you to contemplate your relationship to truth, particularly with regards to your relationships and your daily pursuits. Are you in-bodying your truths, or are you protecting a lie? Do you hear a nagging voice- ‘the little voice that knows’- calling you in another direction, or do you have peace (truth) with path? What does ‘true-path’ mean to you?
