THE UN-KINGLY KING I know of a king, he is fully robed in royal majesty and crowned. He has a beautiful palace and even a great throne to sit on. But that’s where his kingship ends. He never gives a command or a decree, he allows strangers to come dictate the affair of the kingdom and how he should run his own life. As a matter of fact he often vacates his throne for those who loves to pose with it, while he sits on the footsteps. The best he does is cheerleading, when he see others come to take the stage, he gets excited, claps and shout in praise of others and when there is an adverse situation in the kingdom, he only sits on the throne in royal majesty, grumbling and whining…..not ever thinking of doing anything about it. Well…..guess who the king is? Y-O-U!! And You have made them a kingdom (royal race) and priests to our God, and they shall reign [as kings] over the earth! (Revelation 5:10 AMP) Yes you have been accepted into the kingdom of God, you have become a king, of a royal priesthood. You are covered with glory and righteousness as a Christian. You have been given authority, influence, affluence and power. But how come these things are just decorations in your life and getting rusted? But how come you are doing nothing to change your life and change the world? How come your life is in a quagmire and all you do is whine and grumble? You even get to the point of depression, yet you are the glorious Christian King in God’s Kingdom, who Himself is the King of kings!! Why do you allow others to dictate your life? Why do you allow others to run your affairs while you accept whatever life dishes on your plate? Why can’t you rise up, say NO, Stretch forth your hands and give a decree of change? Why don’t you use the Scepter so your words would stand? ”I am tired of Kings not using their power, I am tired of passive kings who only cheer or criticize the performers but do nothing themselves…..I WANT ACTION!!’....says the Lord.
