THE WAGES OF SIN IS DEATH THE GIFT OF GOD IS LIFE The one thing - TopicsExpress

THE WAGES OF SIN IS DEATH THE GIFT OF GOD IS LIFE The one thing you need two remember in this passage of scriptures is that Paul is a Apostle of Gods when he is writing this, and is telling about himself before he received the Holy Spirit from God. Then just as you have a testimony of your self before your received Christ so did Paul and this is what he is telling us. But at the same time he is telling all of those that will listen what takes place with those that depend on the law rather then on The Holy Spirit that comes from God. Then when He says for sin, taking occasion by the commandment, deceived me, and by it slew me. What Paul is bringing out we find written in another verse were it tells us therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin. Then when we our justified by God we live by the Spirit and not by the law. He in no way tells us that the law is not good because he plainly tells us that the law is holy, and the commandment holy, and just, and good. Then he goes on two say was then that which is good made death unto me? God forbid. But sin, that it might appear sin, working death in me by that which is good; that sin by the commandment might become exceeding sinful. Then after he brings out the part about that sin by the commandment might become exceeding sinful. He says that for we know that the law is spiritual: but I am carnal, sold under sin. I might add that be careful about how you take this because He is going two bring out how he was able two overcome the law or say the commandments that he has been speaking about. I am not going two skip the other scriptures down two the last part of the chapter. Ro 7:11 For sin, taking occasion by the commandment, deceived me, and by it slew me. Ro 7:12 Wherefore the law is holy, and the commandment holy, and just, and good. Ro 7:13 Was then that which is good made death unto me? God forbid. But sin, that it might appear sin, working death in me by that which is good; that sin by the commandment might become exceeding sinful. Ro 7:14 For we know that the law is spiritual: but I am carnal, sold under sin. The last part of this chapter Paul tells us that there is a way two overcome all of this and that is what it was telling us from the beginning. I went through all of this two prove that Paul once he received Christ never sinned as many try two prove by the use of these scriptures I skipped. They never really tell us the real truth serving the Spirit and living by the flesh and that those that live by the flesh is sin and live by the law. Then hear is what Paul said in the last of this message I delight in the law of God after the inward man, but I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members. This is true when Paul said O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death? There is know way that we can live other wise unless we listen two what Paul tells us of the way we can be delivered from this death. But he tells us I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with the mind I myself serve the law of God, but with the flesh the law of sin. Then it plainly tells us that we must believe on Jesus Christ in order two overcome the flesh which is sin. That also tells us that Paul was only telling us of how he did libve but how through Jesus Christ he overcame sin. Ro 7:22 For I delight in the law of God after the inward man: Ro 7:23 But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members. Ro 7:24 O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death? Ro 7:25 I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with the mind I myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin. Continue on the next Page
