THE WEEKLY WRAP - Ten players enjoyed a game of pairs and triples last Saturday in Jackpot Joker Bowls. Both games ended up with rather lop-sided results with Laurie Boardman, his daughter Kristy and Tom Duffy claiming a 23 - 3 victory over Denis Sommerfeld, Eddie Jones and Dave the Ambo. The game of pairs was a little closer with the under-rated Cliff Brauer teaming with Jim Smith to defeat Peter Matthews and Pop Wilson 24 -10. The Joker remained in the deck, meaning the Jackpot increases to $445 this Saturday. Names in by 2.30pm for a 3pm start. Well done to Matthew Prain, Jim Smith, Lenny Wright and in particular Darren Stark who played in the Bell Presidents Day last Sunday. The team came away with a win over Dalby and a draw with Jandowae. This was Starkys first full day of bowls and he performed exceptionally well in tricky conditions. A Singles to be played by Sunday 15 December. Games as follows - Dan Collins v Mark Larsen, Pop Wilson v Jim Smith, Laurie Boardman v Peter Matthews, Chris Baldwyn v Tom Duffy, Craig Ensbey v Lenny Wright, Peter Porter v Denis Sommerfeld, Max Merry v Matthew Prain. Upcoming Events - Friday 8 November - Ladies Christmas Goose Club (Donation requested from members) Sunday 10 November - Association Fours - Tara
