THE WEIGHT OF THE WORD EXERCISING IN GODLINESS POWER LIFTING DEVELOPING SPIRITUAL MUSCLE FOR EVEN HEREUNTO WERE YOU CALLED, BECAUSE CHRIST ALSO SUFFERED FOR US, LEAVING US AN EXAMPLE, THAT YOU SHOULD FOLLOW, WHO DID NO SIN, NEITHER WAS GUILE FOUND IN HIS MOUTH, WHO, WHEN HE WAS REVILED, REVILED NOT AGAIN, WHEN HE SUFFERED, HE THREATENED NOT, BUT COMMITTED HIMSELF TO HIM THAT JUDGETH RIGHTEOUSLY, HE WAS OPPRESSED, AND HE WAS AFFLICTED, YET HE OPEN NOT HIS MOUTH, HE IS BROUGHT AS A LAMB TO THE SLAUGHTER, AND AS A SHEEP BEFORE HER SHEARERS IS DUMB, SO HE OPENETH NOT HIS MOUTH, THOUGH HE WERE A SON, YET LEARNED HE OBEDIENCE THROUGH THE THINGS WHICH HE SUFFERED,PICK UP THE WEIGHT OF THE WORD, FOR WHAT GLORY IS IT, IF, WHEN YOU BE BUFFERED FOR YOUR FAULTS, YOU SHALL TAKE IT PATIENTLY? BUT IF, WHEN YOU DO WELL, AND SUFFER FOR IT, YOU TAKE IT PATIENTLY, THIS IS ACCEPTABLE WITH GOD, NOT RENDERING EVIL FOR EVIL, , OR RAILING FOR RAILING, BUT CONTRARIWISE BLESSING, KNOWING THAT YOU ARE THEREUNTO CALLED, THAT YOU SHOULD INHERIT A BLESSING, STRENGTHENED WITH ALL MIGHT, ACCORDING TO HIS GLORIOUS POWER, UNTO ALL PATIENCE AND LONGSUFFERING WITH JOYFULNESS, FOR HE THAT WOULD LOVE LIFE, AND SEE GOOD DAYS, LET HIM REFRAIN HIS TONGUE FROM EVIL, AND HIS LIPS THAT THEY SPEAK NO GUILE, LET HIM ESCHEW EVIL, AND DO GOOD,LET HIM SEEK PEACE, AND ENSUE IT, THEREFORE I TAKE PLEASURE IN INFIRMITIES, IN REPROACHES, IN NECCESSITIES, IN PERSECUTIONS, IN DISTRESSIES, FOR CHRISTS SAKE, FOR WHEN I AM WEAK, THEN AM I STRONG, FINALLY MY BRETHREN, BE STRONG IN THE LORD, AND THE POWER OF HIS MIGHT, POWER LIFTING, LIFT HIM UP. Eph3:16 That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man; Colossians 1:11-13 Strengthened with all might, according to his glorious power, unto all patience and longsuffering with joyfulness; 12 Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light: 13 Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son: 1Peter2:19 For this is thankworthy, if a man for conscience toward God endure grief, suffering wrongfully. 20 For what glory is it, if, when ye be buffeted for your faults, ye shall take it patiently? but if, when ye do well, and suffer for it, ye take it patiently, this is acceptable with God. 21 For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps: 22 Who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth: 23 Who, when he was reviled, reviled not again; when he suffered, he threatened not; but committed himself to him that judgeth righteously: 1Peter3:8 Finally, be ye all of one mind, having compassion one of another, love as brethren, be pitiful, be courteous: 9 Not rendering evil for evil, or railing for railing: but contrariwise blessing; knowing that ye are thereunto called, that ye should inherit a blessing. 10 For he that will love life, and see good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil, and his lips that they speak no guile: 11 Let him eschew evil, and do good; let him seek peace, and ensue it. 12 For the eyes of the Lord are over the righteous, and his ears are open unto their prayers: but the face of the Lord is against them that do evil. 13 And who is he that will harm you, if ye be followers of that which is good? 14 But and if ye suffer for righteousness sake, happy are ye: and be not afraid of their terror, neither be troubled; 15 But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear: 16 Having a good conscience; that, whereas they speak evil of you, as of evildoers, they may be ashamed that falsely accuse your good conversation in Christ. 17 For it is better, if the will of God be so, that ye suffer for well doing, than for evil doing. 18 For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit: 1 Timothy 4:7 But refuse profane and old wives fables, and exercise thyself rather unto godliness. Isa53:I7 He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth: he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he openeth not his mouth. Hebrews 5:8.Though he were a Son, yet learned he obedience by the things which he suffered; 2 Corinthians 12:10 Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christs sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong. Eph6:10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.
