THE WOLVERINE = 3.75+ stars. Full detailed review to follow. In short: a very solid solo venture. Fox marvel films lack some "Grace" vs the main Marvel franchise; but there are little to no glaring plot holes to grind your teeth over. The romance is great; The Ghost Of Jean Grey is Great (if unable to notice she has overcome her welcome); The action is terrific; Yes, even at 2:06 its long and needs to be shorter or have fewer then 7-8 major characters all going at it in the final half hour; Note to SUPERMAN producers so worried on how to weaken a character so powerful and immortal correctly enough so that it makes sense; allows dramatic story telling and balanced plot progression and makes you actually cheer for him when he gets his mojo back = See THE WOLVERINE! And the post credits sequence is hands down the best teaser of ANY marvel film at any studio. OMFG that made we squeeee like a little girl!!! A great afternoon at the movies and a fine enough film for an "also ran" title.
