THE WORD is our RESTING PLACE. The word has explained how to enter that resting place. There is conditions and there are many people which are NOT entering that rest even now . Accepting him with your lips is not enough. Hearing the gospel preached unto you is not enough. As we see in Hebrews chapter 4 the gospel is preached to two groups and only one group. profited TO ENTER When Christ told the Parable of the Seed thrower .... we all would of thought he was referring to a physical seed,farmer,ravens,thorns, etc ... UNTIL .... he gave the Spiritual Interpretation. So when the Father told the Parable of the Passover, Atonement, Feasts, Sacrificial Ceremonies, ALL LAW, many people took it physically .... and did the physical literal works of the Parable .... and never use their ear to HEAR the deeper Spiritual Meanings. People did not enter the rest because they did not mix their words with FAITH. And faith comes by spiritually HEARING. Once you HEAR the spiritual definitions you are able to fulfill the law in SPIRIT And not with fleshly physical works Once Faith comes you are no longer under the physical works of the law. You are BEING led by the Spirit to Great Grace The Spiritually lame, deaf, and blind ..... They cant understand the Spiritual meanings behind the law making them Incapable of fullfilling it in SPIRIT Romans 8:4. Because they have eyes but do not See, and they have ears but do not Hear, they keep the physical literal works as a Substitute. Proverbs 26:7 + Prov 1:6 The good thing is Jesus Christ gives us most of the interpretations as well do the apostles. As Paul explains they use PLAINESS OF SPEECH they dont speak In dark parables and mysteries LIKE MOSES AND THE OLD TESTAMENT 2 Cor 3:12 - Seeing then that we have such hope, we use great plainness of speech: And NOT as Moses, which put a vail over his face, that the children of Israel could not stedfastly look to the END of that which is abolished: But their minds were BLINDED; for until this day remaineth the same vail UNTAKEN away in the READING OF the old testament; which vail is done away in Christ. But even unto this day, when MOSES IS READ, the vail is upon their heart. 16 Nevertheless when it shall turn to the Lord, the vail shall be taken away. 17 Now the Lord IS THAT Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is LIBERTY HOW ..... HOW will they fullfill the Law without HEARING the Spiritual Interpretation. Rom 10:13 - For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. HOW then shall they call on him in whom they have not BELIEVED? and HOW shall they believe in him of whom they have NOT HEARD ? and HOW shall they HEAR without a preacher? And HOW shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, HOW beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things! But they have not all OBEYED THE GOSPEL For Esaias saith, Lord, who hath BELIEVED our report? 17 So then faith cometh by HEARING, and hearing by the word of God. The gospel is about Messish and think about what the Messiah did for us. You have to understand the fullness of His mission. He released us from the bondage of the physical CARNAL works of the law. Heb 7:16-18 + Heb 9:10 Before FAITH we were shut up under the physical CARNAL works of the law. Once you can spiritually HEAR, you have FAITH and can fullfill the Law In Spirit NOT with Carnal Fleshly Works Romans 8:4 + Rom 7:25 Those of us who are led by the Spirit are not under the LETTER/CARNAL law. If you dont believe me ... This is why its written who has believed OUR report ? Nobody wants to believe that these are parables and spiritual things. They want to fulfill them FLESHLY. Some of you are already free in the sense that you dont do THE CARNAL physical manners OF LAW. Amen. Now you must GROW IN FAITH BY HEARING AND learn the spiritual meanings to do them spiritually. 2 Tim 3:15 - And that from a child thou hast known the HOLY SCRIPTURES which are ABLE to make thee WISE unto SALVATION THROUGH FAITH which is in Christ Jesus. (Matt 5:20) There are MANY who have VOIDED out the law because of a self made Faith ( Rom 3:31 )
