THE WORLD DOSE NOT KNOW GOD FIRST LESSON: JOHN 16:2-3 “They shall put you out of the synagogues: yes, the time cometh, that whoever killeth you, will think that he doseth God service. And these things will they do to you, because they have not known the Father, nor me.” SECOUND LESSON: MATTHEW 10:36 “And a man’s foes will be they of his own household.” GOLDEN TEXT: 1ST TIMOTHY 1:12-13 “And I thank Christ our Lord, who hath enabled me, for that he counted me faithful, putting me into the ministry; who was before a blasphemer, and a persecutor, and injurious: but I obtained mercy, because I did it ignorantly in unbelief.” THE IGNORANCE OF THE WORLD This gospel should be preached to the whole world. This has been a headache to the universe and the inhabitants for ages. It has weakened the children of God and those who want to serve God. It will also help you to recognize the children of God wherever they can be found. It is proof also that those who hate the children of God do not know the Father. They would like to serve the Father but they don’t know him. They speak ill of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit because they don’t know them. Because they are ignorant of the truth, they call you Beelzebub. Don’t be annoyed with them, pity them for they do not know the Father neither do they know Christ. Those who persecute Christians by fighting, killing and accusing them falsely do not know the Father and the Son. They are people who will carry the cross of Christ and worship him in the end. Pity them because of their ignorance. Those who call you Beelzebub do not know God. The same ignorance killed the Israelites. They did not know the Christ that as why they killed him. That was why he asked God to forgive them for they knew not what they did. In the same way the children of God should pray to God to forgive who curse Christians and who call them Beelzebub. Christ asked the people if they would also kill him as he was telling them the truth. In response they said they were the children of Abraham, whereupon Christ replied them that if they had known Abraham, they would have known him. You will be killed, beaten hated and driven out of your homes, churches and accused of worshipping Beelzebub because they neither know the Father nor the Son. Naturally anyone who dose not know your parents will not treat you kindly. They will boast of succeeding in driving you out of their churches because they neither know the Father nor the Son. They will think they are doing the church a good service. If these things don’t happen, there will be no testimonies to give. MAN IS IGNORANT OF THE TRUTH Many members today hated spiritual churches and even the Brotherhood of the Cross and Star because they were ignorant of the truth. This is proof that no one can go to the Father unless he is called by him. This proves also that the race is not for the swift but we are saved by grace. Those who persecute and accuse you are as ignorant as the Israelites. They will be converted unto the truth and used as God’s vessels. This is to fulfill the word of God that we are saved by grace and not because of our goodness. God calls you when you have been made an outcast by your people and he becomes a good brother to you. This ill treatment makes you appreciate Christ’s death and long to love and worship him. Because the world is ignorant of the truth, you should go and preach to them thus liberate them from the grip of the evil one. Anyone who dose not know Christ does not know his disciples. They hate you because they don’t know you. Re-examine the Frist Lesson: FRIST LESSON: JOHN 16:2-3 “They shall put you out of the synagogues: yes, the time cometh, that whoever killeth you, will think that he doseth God service. And these things will they do to you, because they have not known the Father, nor me. IGNORANCE IS MAN’S UNDOING You cannot know how ignorant the world is unless these things happen. Churches are built at every corner waiting for the coming of the Holy Spirit; yet the Holy Spirit has come and they know him not. Why are you angry? Pity them and pray to God to enlighten them for they will be your fellow workers. Believe sincerely that those who hate Brotherhood will be fellow workers to carry the Cross of Christ with you. The Christ said there will be one church and that is Brotherhood of the Cross and Star and now that it has come, people don’t know it. Don’t be despondent of their ignorance but continue to pray to God to bring them to the fold a there must be one flock and one shepherd. Take Christ to them and forgive their ignorance. Re-examine the Second Lesson: SECOND LESSON: MATTHEW 10:36 “And a man’s foes will be they of his own household.” HOUSEHOLD ENEMIES Don’t fume because you are called names because they will team up with you. Believers and unbelievers are all Brotherhood. Your enemies will eventually become your friends. God says: “All knees will bow and worship him.” Any town, village or individual that hates you is ignorant of the truth. Brotherhood will embrace them happily when it is God’s time. As Saul, you all hated the church and persecuted it by words and deeds but as Paul you have been called and used as his vessels. As they hate you and ill-treat you, you are saved and so are they. People hate to wear the white apparel and speak in tongues but now they are enjoying the mystery. Is it not planted in disgrace and reaped in glory? The disciples of the Christ must undergo the same ill treatment as their master. As he was called Beelzebub, his disciples must also be called the same name. Re-examine the Golden Text: GOLDEN TEXT: 1ST TIMOTHY 1:12-13 “And I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who hath enabled me, for that he counted me faithful, putting me into the ministry; who was before a blasphemer, and persecutor, and injurious: but I obtained mercy, because I did it ignorantly in unbelief.” CALLED UNTO THE TRUTH This is the testimony you have to give as Paul gave. Everyone has a testimony to give. Anyone who has disgraced God by hating his brother, telling lies, fornicating; litigating or who is filled with lust and is forgiven and called to the service of the Lord has a similar testimony to give. He has called us out of death to life from ignorance to light and truth. Forgive your brothers and sisters who in sin in the same way because they are still ignorant of the truth. Christ will call them into his fold as he has called you. People slighted Christ and in their ignorance asked whether he was not the Carpenter’s son; these fishermen, these ignorant men? To whom much is given much will be required. You are happy when you remember how sinful you had been and how you have been called to Christ’s service. Paul was forgiven though he witnessed the killing of Stephen, jailed men and women and even had the permission to arrest more Christians at Damascus. He did not believe in Christ and regarded the Christians as confusionists. God knows our hearts and our ignorance and so forgives us. People in different churches work against you because they think they are right. Forgive them; they will give testimonies as you have given when they come into the fold. When they see the great light in Brotherhood they will come in God’s time. Forgive them as you have been forgiven. Let those who have ears, hear. May the Lord bless his Holy words. Amen.
