THE YEAR 2014 IN YOUR OWN WORDS! As the year 2014 comes to an end, lets put politics aside and take a recap on the last 12 months. To some, 2014 was the best year of their lives. After graduating or getting married they decided to start a new life. To others, it was not so good after they saw their loved ones put to rest or watched nothing but sad news on TV. Whatever the case, this year was full of news and history both in Zambia and worldwide. In random order, here are some stories that made big news this year; Zambia turns 50 years and lose its dear President Mr Michael Sata days later. The disappearing of Malaysian Flight MH-370. Boko Haram kidnapping school girls in Nigeria and the Ebola outbreak in 3 African nations that ended up posing a real global outbreak. Road accidents in Zambia take the lives of Marvin B3, P-Jay and many more. Russia annexes Crimea from Ukraine and Scotland vote to secede from the United Kingdom which failed. Zambia has the white president for the first time after independence, youths arrested over constitution and Zambia National Team plays Japan in Tampa, Florida. On a personal note, it was a year I lost my dear mother and that was really tough. How was 2014 to you? Please share with us your 2014 memories.
