THEATRE ARTS UNDER ATTACK!!!!! As Pam Beddard says in our group Arts Cuts Bristol 2014, it is outrageous that Bristol City Council is threatening to cut all of Show of Strengths funding. Who else in the SW has done more to encourage new writing; draw stories from less heard voices; take theatre to unexpected places; engage non-traditional audiences or give employment to local actors - all on a budget that makes shoestring too plump a description. Messages saying Noooooooo need to go soonest to the folks listed below (supplemented by hugs and love to Sheila Hannon who must feel devastated).
