THEATRICS PUPPETS OF THE MAETERLINCK Here is an important event that we offer our friends in Belgium: two study days on the intellectual relationship between the writer Maurice Maeterlinck and puppetry. It would be too simple to Maeterlinck data base : he was born August 29, 1862 in Ghent (Belgium) and died 5 May 1949 in Nice ( France ) . It is a Belgian francophone writer who received the Nobel Prize for Literature in 1911. Meanwhile he was a poet, writer, essayist, musician and playwright . His interest in the puppet was original and well worth a good time for reflection baptized : Theatricality (s) Maeterlinck : puppet , legendary, magical. This is one of the goals of the original and the meeting organized by AML in synergy with the Puppet Centre of the Federation Wallonia -Brussels and the Museum of Puppetry Arts in Tournai, who meet for a day and a half both scientists and practitioners.
