THEOPNEUSTOS “GOD BREATHED” THURSDAY, AUGUST 7TH 2014 TITLE: THE MAKING A STRONG FAMILY (2) MESSAGE BY PASTOR CHARLES PROVERBS 31:10. Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubies. Women are present in most families but it is not enough for a woman to be present. Any home that lacks the true impact of the woman of that home always suffers. Just like the body needs vitamins, proteins, carbohydrate, etc. none is of no importance, in the same way every home needs to feel the impact of a wife and her mother. In women are all manner of divine packages if only they can dig in to dig out the treasures in them. A woman is not weak as some understand “weaker vessels”. Physically there are some things a man can lift a woman should not be allowed to lift especially when a man is there but it’s so amazing how God chooses what men call weak to shame the strong. Woman, wife or mother, listen to me… you possess a power. It is called influence, so use it wisely. Allow your husband exercise authority while you exercise your influence. Learn from that man as long as he is teaching you based on God’s word. Support him to pass on the principles of God’s word to the rest of the family. Don’t object him in the presence of your children. Appreciate his worth and his love. Make the children look up to him as hero and don’t introduce partiality amongst your children. If peradventure your husband is not God-fearing, keep praying for him but insist on impacting the principles of God into your children. Believe God, change is coming. Maintain a cheerful countenance and always, no matter the circumstance, give your husband his honour in the home. Never wrestle authority with him. A wise woman builds her home.
