THEOPNEUSTOS GOD BREATHED THURSDAY, JANUARY 30TH 2014 TITLE: TIME TO CLEAN UP MESSAGE BY PASTOR FAVOUR GENESIS 2:15 “AND THE LORD GOD TOOK THE MAN PUT HIM INTO THE GARDEN OF EDEN TO DRESS IT AND KEEP IT.” Clean-up is not a seasonal activity. It should be what we do on a daily basis. You should not treat cleanliness as though it were a for Christmas and Easter season. Just like some business men and women only try to clean up their business premises on Thursday Lagos environmental or the federal government last Saturday’s of every month clean-up. Cleanliness in your life ought not to be so. We must be involved in clean-up of our body, soul and our environment. Yes I mentioned your soul – because to be clean on the outside, your mind must first accept cleanliness and hate dirtiness. The word of God is the perfect cleansing agent for your soul. Your soul consists of your intellect and emotions. You need the word of God to give you a new mind set. You don’t have to wait till you have visitors coming to your house before you start your clean-up. Your clean-up is first good for your health and relaxation before it is good for others. Love your neighbour as yourself. And it does not only affect your image before others, think of it as good for you. Rid your wardrobe of some clothes, shoes and so on. There may be stuffs in your possession you haven’t even needed in a long while and may never need, it’s time you give them out to someone who may need it more than you do. Don’t forget to do some internal clean-up – Head to toe. When you clean up, you free yourself of excess garbage or baggage. To be clean is to be whole and wholeness is seen in an excellent mind. Sometime ago a lady was going to see her fiancé’s family people, while on her way to the place, her fiancé tried to fix things in order and ensure neatness in the house but his siblings insisted that things be left as dirty and scattered as they were. There reason being that she should come and see the way they are, accept them like that or forget about the marriage with their brother. Ridiculous! There is nothing about being yourself in dirtiness, if you won’t do it for yourself, do it for dignity sake and at least for the comfort of your guest. PRAYER AND DECLARATION O LORD, PURIFY ME THROUGH YOUR WORD. I PROMISE TO LIVE A LIFE OF CLEANLINESS. WORDS ON MARBLE YOU CAN SUCCESSFULLY LOVE OTHERS ONLY, WHEN YOU HAVE LOVED YOURSELF… KNOWN TRUTH
