THEORY: Corringham Old School and a parish school in Fobbing are running with 6 or 8 pupils. 1830s The Church of England decides to sort out the education of the poor with a National School System. They build the Corringham one on Lampits Hill and the Fobbing one in Herd Lane (Fobbing wasreported to have a National School by 1872). Kynochs build a school at Kynochtown which runs until Coryton is evacuated
