THERES NO NABI SAMWIL VILLAGE The residents of the small Palestinian village of Nabi Samwil, just outside of Jerusalem, suffer from the continuous efforts of the Israeli occupation forces to make their lives impossible and to force them to leave the village. The village and all their lands have been caged into a National Park and the village has been cut off from the West Bank but the Separation Wall. The last straw came this week, during a hearing of the objections to the Civil Administrations plan to develop a grandiose tourist site on the villagers land. This Sunday, December 1, 2013 at 10 AM we will be joining the villagers of Nabi Samwil at their protest tent. How to get to Nabi Samwil: Take the Begin Road north until the Golda Meir interchange, Turn left to Ramot and then take the main street, Golda Meir till the end. About 600 meters after the final traffic light, turn right. Theres a brown sign to Nebi Samuel (Theres also a big mosque on the hill). We will meet at the parking lot next to the mosque. And heres what the residents wrote: The Tragedy of a-Nabi Samwil village The residents of Nabi Samwil have awoken to the dawn of a great disaster and an additional shock. After the protest of the village residents at the The Seat of the Israeli Military Rule in Bet El, and in response to the Israeli decision that there is no village by the name of Nabi Samwil...as if we dont exist on the map, and we have no rights. But we say to them, we were born here...we live here, and here we will die. PLEASE JOIN US AND SPREAD THIS MESSAGE.
