THIRD VICTORY FOR KAJAIA Davit Kajaia (GEO) won the third Legend SuperCup race: “This was the third race and my third victory. The car was in perfect condition, the team prepared my car really well. I started from pole position and therefore it was not difficult to win. I hope I get a fourth victory in the last race.” James Holman (GBR) finished second: “A little bit more of a normal second place for me compared to yesterday. It was a good race. Niki and Davit were battling quite hard in the beginning and Konstantine Koliashvili was very close as well. I don’t really know what happened, but they touched and then I took the lead. Davit pushed hard to take the lead again and that’s what he did. My car wasn’t that good in the corners as it was yesterday, so unfortunately I missed out by 0.087 seconds today. I did set the fastest times, so that was good.” Niki Meredith (IRL) crossed the finish line on third position: “I’m very disappointed. At the start myself, Davit and James were pulling away. I didn’t want to battle too much but I just wanted to push and pull a little gap. At a moment our bumpers locked and I had a very the scary moment and went through the grass. When I got back to the track James and Davit had a gap and it stayed the rest of the race. Monza has so much high speed parts and there’s little room to make up time. I hope we can do in the last race what we wanted to do this whole weekend: to win.” #ACC14
