THIRSTY FOR PENTECOST. When you desire the Holy Ghost, you have Him. Sometimes we pray for people too soon. There was a brother that was mightily used of the Lord. He prayed for people, exhorted them and preached to them so that they would obtain the baptism in the Holy Ghost. One of those who knew his efforts in that line got interested in another person and brought that person to this brother to ask him to pray for the fellow to recieve the Holy Ghost. The person to be prayed for sat down and the brother started praying. He talked to the fellow and laid hands on him and prayed. At a point he asked the fellow he was praying for to also pray. They prayed and prayed. After some real praying, the brother asked this fellow if if wanted the Holy Ghost. The man said no. He asked him why he was there and the man said that the other fellow told him that the Holy Ghost is good; that he needs it; and that he held him by the hand and brought him to that brother so that when he is prayed for, he would recieve the Holy Ghost.
