THIS IS MY OWN OPINION I have (in my own Opinion) decided on things that most people do not think about or own that can help you save money on your food bill. To me they are must have items. Without them you are losing money because food spoils and you have to throw it out. Now, I’m not saying run out and buy this stuff, only buy what you can afford but try to get these items as soon as you can afford them. Some are expensive but they do pay for themselves in the long run. I DO NOT GET PAID TO RECOMMEND THESE ITEMS BUT I AM TO THE POINT WHERE I FEEL LIKE I CAN’T BE WITHOUT THEM. 1. Foodsaver Fresh Saver Handheld Vacuum Sealer I love this thing I use it nearly every day. You can get this at Walmart and the bags, I bought mine online $29.99 because it came with some bags. Otherwise $19.99 2. Foodsaver Regular Jar Sealer online $8.99 3. Foodsaver Wide Mouth Jar Sealer online $9.99 4. Foodsaver Vacuum Sealer I’ve had mine for years 5. Dehydrator I own 2 Nesco Digital 1000 one with 4 trays and one with 8 trays 6. All American Pressure Canner In this case I strongly suggest buying this one It is more expensive but it is something that will last for many, many years. It has the locks on the outside and it doesn’t need any of the lid gaskets that have to be replaced every year. I have the one that hold 7 quarts or 14 pint jars Mainly because If it were bigger I couldn’t pick it up 7. Meat Grinder hand or electric I had a head of lettuce that I sealed with the handheld sealer, as a test, I sealed it and put it back in the fridge. It took 3 weeks before the lettuce started to rot.
