THIS IS OUR CHANCE. An Elder Statesman of our great state in one of his numerous statements ones noted that; The Masses Hardly know what they want. In human Psychology, a point is reached in mass movement and mob actions that people take actions,support a cause and probably die for a cause they hardly understood. Why,because its easier to Imitate than create. Its easier to let the status qua remain,for change will require a greater amount commitment and responsibility which too many are unwilling plough into. A situation where the Youths are denied positions in Governance on flimsy grounds of Inexperience and Maturity stirs our blood for a holy Postulations. It raises questions in our hearts and we dare to ask generations ahead of us. Who was ever born with experience for living? Taking a closer look at my kids,I noticed,there was no training on breast sucking,yet the moment they hit mother earth,they had to do the needful. Whoever believed Rt.Hon Anthony Jude Akan would emerge as the best Local Government Chairman Uruan has ever produced since Inception if he was never given the chance to proof his worth? The Senate Position can not be any different,as one who has been closest to his people in the cause of Time before and while serving as Chairman,you bet he understands what is most needed by his people,especially the Youths of Uyo Senatorial District. We need to match Dynamic Leadership with the speed of Change our generation is faced with. Its foolhardy to juxtapose stone age minds at this age and expect outstanding returns on dividend of Democracy. The youths of Uyo Senatorial District will not negotiate for anything less than Youthful Inclusion in Governance at all levels even at the Red House. As we tackle our Demand for Udom Gabriel Emmanuel as Governor of this great state,A young Dynamic tasted and Proven Technocrat,we wish to also state that Rt. Hon. Anthony Jude Akan is RIGHT to Represent us as Senator,Uyo Senatorial District come 2015.
