THIS IS OUR ONLY CHANCE TO SAVE THIS MESMERIZING BOY ! TO BE KILLED TOMORROW (SATURDAY, 9/13/14) A volunteer writes: Confident but relaxed, handsome yet approachable, regal as a King...even in the low light of his kennel Blue Bays mesmerizing eyes draw me close in admiration and I feel quite privileged to be given the chance to step out with such an alluring beauty. Hes so calm and easy, the kind of undemanding boy whos happy to do his own thing yet still up for some petting and a soft exchange of kisses. Blues very eager for food but hell take it gently from an open palm and aside from not being a huge fan of hugs, he really enjoys getting up close and personal with his human - lucky me! Out on the street hes a good walker and quite the doggie detective, that cute blue nose barely leaving the ground (except for bathroom breaks of course) as he methodically sniffs his way all down the street and back again. Chill as Blue is with people hes not so keen on other dogs, especially little ones, and would do best in a home where he can be an only child or very slowly introduced to a large, low-key fur sibling. Blue aced all the handling portions of his behavior assessment and would make a wonderful companion for anyone who appreciates the finer things in life, things like strolling through the park on a crisp fall day or snuggling on the couch during the cold winter nights.
