THIS IS THE STORY YOU MUST READ DOUBLE DATE IS INJURIOUS Listen to this story and give your honest opinion in the comment you provide later… John is a 36 years old, a graduate in Chemical engineering in one of the universities we had in Nigeria. He was so fortunate to work in one of the oil company in Port Harcourt after his NYSC. But his family resides in Lagos where he spent most of his teenage life. Before John relocate to PH, he was dating a lady a called Oluwayemisi and there is a mutual understanding between them till his employment time. John departed Lagos, leaving Yemisi with a promise that he would not look into the eye ball of another girl as he moved to PH. He also extends his love towards Oluwayemisi as he made her known to his family as his loving fiancée. And there was no communication gap between them while at distant. After his eight months in PH, John was invited to a birthday party by a friend called Benson. It was at this set John’s eyes could not avert a charming lady, who happened to be a sister to one of his friend. This is how John entered into a relationship with Joan and their naked fire became uncontrollable one. It was in john’s mind that he can never let go of Yemisi for Joan. He so much believed that his relationship with Joan is casual not until a day Joan tells him that she was pregnant. There is no way for john to deny it because John himself knew that he is her first man. But he entreated her to abort the pregnancy which she did not accede. The funniest part of the matter is that Joan is a cousin to Yemisi as it was once reflected in their conversation during the time of knowing each other but it does not occur to John that it could be his Yemisi. When the pressure of aborting the pregnancy was intense on Joan without a positive outcome she decided to leave PH for Lagos unannounced till matured time because she is wanted their relationship to end up in marriage. On getting to Lagos she narrated the whole story in the hearing of Yemisi how John impregnated her and his decision about the pregnancy…but Yemisi could not suspect it to John because of the love and trust she has in him and besides their wedding date is at fixed. On a certain day, John phoned his fiancée, Yemisi that he will be coming to Lagos on a week leave. Yemisi was so happy after she hang up believing that it would be an opportunity for her to introduced Joan, her cousin to John. John entered Lagos late, so he could not say hello to Yemisi at home…..but he called her on phone to let her aware of his arrival. Yemisi was the first person to call John the following day which was on Saturday to let him aware of her coming to his place by 10am. She intending going alone and later she will go with her cousin but Joan insisted that she will accompany her to the family of her fiancé. Both of them agreed as they board a cab heading to John’s house but on getting there John was still on bed. So they waited for him at sitting room while they enjoyed an interesting programme on television with his family. After an hour John was readily awake but he decided not to show up until he took his bath. Later he join them in the sitting room with a mild smile of welcoming. But Alas! His gentle look suddenly turns out to be wild. He was hypnotised to have seen Joan in his house. Yemisi quickly jump up from seat with a notion of giving him a hug and kiss but his changed mood stunned her motion while Joan was also lost herself in trance. His family could not understand that short drama being performed in their sitting room. After a couple of minutes Joan come back to her normal sense and she manage to behave maturely but Yemisi was suspicious about their action. Yemisi later introduced Joan to John formally and they both went for privacy. In the course of their pretending not to have known each other while discussing matter suddenly a strange spirit stir up Joan in aggressive tone that, “ you can’t marry her after which you are the one who put me into this position”. She vehemently tells John and later turned to Yemisi her cousin that this is the man who is responsible for my pregnancy according to the story I ve told you. And immediately she heard of, she collapsed. It was the high pitched scream of Yemisi before she collapsed that beckoned the attention of John’s parents in sitting room for emergency. She was then rushed to the nearby hospital for resuscitation while Joan sobs herself profusely. No one could say this is the end of the road for the relationship between John and Yemisi after her recovery. And no one can say that the wedding date for Yemisi could be changed for Joan since her her pregnancy is seven months and two weeks old. At this junction Yemisi and Joan seriously need your advice on what next step to take on the issue on ground. If possible you can counsel John on how to live his rest usefully.
