THIS WEEK’S CHALLENGE: Psalms 86:11, “Teach me thy way, O LORD; I will walk in thy truth: unite my heart to fear thy name.” King David’s desire was to learn and obey God’s truths. His promise was that if the Lord would teach him His ways, he would obey them. I often give this advice, “Walk in the truth that you know.” We all are at different levels of growth and understanding, but it is vital that we are obedient to what the Lord has already shown us to be true. When we walk in obedience to what He has taught us in His Word, He will surely continue to bless us with more knowledge! No matter what happens…do not compromise the truths that the Lord has given you. It may separate you from friends and family. It may even separate you from your church family, but to walk in obedience to God’s Word honors the Lord…and that is what our desire should be!
