THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: “DON’T VALUE YOURSELF BY OTHERS” “But they….paring themselves …are not wise.” 2 Cor. 10:12 Sometimes in life you can become unhappy and miserable by comparing yourself with others. It can become destructive when you can’t appreciate your Virtues but focus on your Vices. God never intended you to compare yourself with anybody else. By making comparisons you can end up implying that God made a mistake in making you as you are. Furthermore, you’re allowing others to define your worth. Paul says in Romans 12:5-6 “Since we find ourselves fashioned….excellently….and marvelously….let’s just go ahead and be what we were made to be.” Today remember God made you what He wanted you to be, redeemed you and called you to fulfill His plan for your life. Until you stop comparing yourself to others, you’ll never be able to give birth to the gifts he’s placed within. “You are fearfully and wonderfully made.” Ps. 139:14 NIV. “You are an original” Gal. 5: 25-26 My humble advice today is, thank God for who you are, and believe that He’s transforming you day by day into the person He wants you to become. Be blessed today and remember you are whom God says you are. Just be proud and say thank you Lord. THANK YOU LORD. I WOULDNT COMPARE….. AMEN
