THREATS FROM A CRAZED FAN Last night, a crazy an obsessed fan threatened to destroy me if I ever paint again. This person had been writing long, absurd messages to me about starting a non-profit business together, with he as my manager. I knew he was a little off but he sent me $125 for a private commission and I accepted the offer. Anyway, he sent me a crude drawing of a naked man defecating in a coffee can. He said it was sacred and constituted proof of our alliance. (Ill sell it on ebay with a printed copy of the crazy emails later today). At first I laughed. Then came the threats, and finally, when I declined the offer of friendship, he put in a Paypal dispute and that money was taken from my account. Since I had paid for the canvas (a large one) and the paint, I didnt have enough to cover the refund, so it went through my bank and cut into my living expenses. Despite this minor setback, I have decided that I will continue to paint and paint and paint and paint.............
