THROWback Thursday: Literally! Today is the day I will finally see that I-Tooth after 36 years of hiding in the roof of my mouth. It has been causing a lot of pain, swelling and pushing on a front tooth. After thinking about two options, today is Surgery day :( I remember the day I lost it playing on our 1978 Rifle High School State bound Girls Basketball Team (*Picture 1 - Celebrating beating Roaring Fork for 1st place in the League Tourney with an outstanding Team, all of us carrying Coach Green. We ended up moving on to Districts, which we also won and went to State in 78). I had already lost three front Baby teeth shortly before that, all three came through except the fourth one (hasnt hurt me until the last few months). This stubborn I-Tooth was loose and knocked out by a big broot with an elbow to the mouth while playing on the court. Dang, we played some physical B~Ball!! I miss each and everyone associated with that Team. Love reconnecting with them on Facebook and rejoicing in their happiness. Within a few years after graduating HS, I started Professionally Modeling and still didnt have an I-Tooth on the right side (Picture #2 1982). No big cheesy smile for me at that time
