THUNDERSTORM.........POEM BY DESTINY IHUOMA CHINENYE OPARAH(Ms)26/07/2014 Heavy sounds of crashing house Thunders from the sky above. its debris , the rains pours from the sky above Gushing down like the mighty wind from the windows above Thunderstorm , the heaven bellows in the skies. The earth is baptized with floods Trees pay homage to the earth bent double in salutation to the wind heavens bellows in fury Till the windows of heaven stands ajar. Leaves dance in sheer glee How the fruits drop off the tree in sheer estacy Children quiver and shake with excitement As the lightening flashes across the sky.
